Creating a work environment that
promotes teamwork and cooperation, where sales
department personnel can prosper; find rewards
in their efforts; and, be continuously motivated
and challenged to improve their performance. |

Promoting the dealerships
standards for integrity, ethics, and job
performance. |

Directing the daily activities of
the sales representatives; assisting them in
achieving their objectives for sales, and
profits; and, continuously training, evaluating
and monitoring their progress toward achieving
these goals. |

Assisting
the General Sales Manager to assure that the
Sales Department is staffed with individuals who
are competent, trustworthy, adequately trained
for their positions, and motivated to help the
dealership achieve its goals and objectives. |
|

Assuring that the accounting
office receives on a timely basis, time cards,
commission vouchers, employment documents, and
all other records necessary to the hiring,
employment and compensation of the sales
representatives. |
|

Managing sales representatives in
a manner that is in compliance with all local,
state, and federal, wage and hour laws,
employment laws, and all other government
regulations relating to employment,
compensation, safety, harassment, and
discrimination. |
|
|
|
|
|
|

Assisting the General Sales
Manager in implementing sales and marketing
plans and assuring that the dealership is;
aggressively seeking new customers and markets;
achieving its full sales potential; and,
fulfilling its obligations under the terms of
its Sales and Service Agreements for superior
representation and total customer satisfaction. |

Implementing the dealerships
policies and processes for prospect management
and customer follow-up to assure that all
potential customers are handled in a manner
conducive to maximizing the dealerships goals
for sales penetration, profitability, and
customer loyalty. |
|
| v |
Maintaining the physical
presences and appearance of the new and used
inventory and other assets utilized by the sales
department; and, maintaining a system of
internal controls and operating procedures that
will protect these assets from theft, loss, or
unnecessary depreciation. |
|
| v |
Assuring that all purchase
agreements, bills of sale, finance contracts,
lease agreements, applications for registration,
and all other documents necessary to the sale
and lease of vehicles are completed accurately
and in full compliance with all local, state,
and federal laws, and submitted to the
accounting office in a proper and timely
fashion. |
|
| v |
Assisting the General Sales
Manager with the implementation of the annual
business plan and expense budget for the sales
department; realizing the monthly sales and
profit objectives; and, conducting the affairs
of the department in a fashion conducive to
achieving its sales goals and maximizing the
return on the owners investment. |
|

Assuring that the Sales
Department is utilizing all available
technologies in its pursuit of its sales and
profit objectives. |
|
|
|
|
|

Assuring that the sales
representatives conduct their affairs in a
manner conducive to good citizenship within the
community, and operate within the laws and
regulations of all local, state, and federal
jurisdictions. |
|

Assisting the General Sales
Manager with the development and maintenance of
relationships and alliances with manufacturers,
industry associations, suppliers, and vendors
that promote the goodwill of the company and
serve its interests best. |
|

Assisting the General Sales
Manager with the implementation of the policies,
procedures, and processes necessary to being
recognized for superior customer satisfaction. |
|
